The First Burn

It’s important to get this first burn right because the wax pool you get for the first burn will be the wax pool you get every time you burn your candle. Burn the candle one hour, for every inch in width, the wax pool needs to get as close to the edge of the container as possible.

Try to occasionally burn your candle for a few hours to make sure it continues burning properly. Too many short burns will cause the candle to 'tunnel' .

Always keep burning candles within sight.
Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
Keep candles out of reach of children, pets, soft furnishing
and flammable materials.

Trim candle wick to 1/4 inch each time before burning.
Be sure the candle holder is placed on a stable, heat resistant surface.
Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times.
Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, ceiling fans and air currents.
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at any one time.
Discontinue use when 1/4 of the wax remains.

Do not use as night lights

Never use Candles as night lights

Extinguish a candle if it repeatedly smokes, flickers, or the flame becomes too high.
If water gets onto the surface of the candle, make sure it is completely removed before lighting as water causes the flame to spark and crackle
Never use a candle as a night light.
